  • annefood Great breakfast @juliasalviati !
  • KyFish I do this as well. But I use this 7 grain bread from my farmers market because it doesn't have any added sugar like some grocery store bread, and it's better for managing my diabetes.
Add lemon juice to your water

By adding lemon juice to your water it gives it taste, helps detox your body and helps increase your metabolism
  • Amieroe that's smart although be careful because to much acid is bad for your teeth :)
  • BethIsGreen I keep one of those lemon juice squeeze bottles in my fridge so it's easier.
A good way to stop drinking soda is to find a healthier alternative like carbonated water. For extra flavor add some lemon or lime slices.

Plain yogurt with fruit, nuts, and/or granola is a surprisingly delicious sugar-free way to start your day.

If you have trouble drinking water normally, try turning it into herbal tea to make a tasty drink without the excess junk in it!

How do i avoid sweets candy etc. If i have a lot of them in my house ?
8yr
  • justinponeill Throw them away or "gift" them to someone else when you end up or someone else's house (As long as they aren't open yet).
  • nikkipayne21 That's always hard. I struggle with the same problem. But I just have to remind myself what I want more. I want to be healthier and my body will feel awful afterwards
  • davisaa It's tough to get started but once you cut them from your diet you'll lose the craving and eventually be able to avoid them completely! Good luck!

Drink out of a straw when drinking water, as you do not have to think about it and it is easy to distract yourself while drinking.

  • Mauneumann This may be true, but the straw produces much more waste because of the plastic. We should also think about eating sustainably!!!
  • Brianne Yes! I actually have reusable straws at home for this reason, but I agree, the straw makes it easier =)
  • NehaNBB I have one of those camelback water bottles that have a straw. It's awesome.
