How do you feel about the phrase, "clean eating"?
I've heard some nutritionists/dietitians who do not like to label food as clean because it causes people to look at food as black or white. Others feel it helps them to stay nutritionally focused; ...
-
Emma I really appreciate this question. My feeling is that "clean" makes good food sound a bit precious, pure, even pretentious. I don't love the term. Looking forward to hearing others' thoughts!
-
Brianne I've struggled with this question because 'clean' is the only term I can come up with to describe how I like to eat. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat meat unless I know it was raised humanely,...
-
NehaNBB I don't like the term at all because it positions the opposite as dirty, and wrong - and the more we judge people about their food choices, the worse off we will be.

Not sure what to do with your leftover herbs?
A fun way to utilize all of your herbs is to chop them up, put them in an ice tray with olive oil, and stick them in the freezer (yes, olive oil will freeze!). Next time you are making pasta, add t...

BobDale This is brilliant @EvaLouise. I am going to try this.
Discovered this patch of purslane growing wild in my parent's backyard in upstate NY. Does anyone have a good recipe for this stuff?
Purslane can be used as a salad green, sautéed like spinach and probably many other ways I have yet to discover.
-
sugardetoxme Never can go wrong in a salad but notice @DigInn is doing a cold salad with cantaloupe and purslane
-
JenniferEmilson Love it in salad!
-
LezEngel Thanks for the tips @sugardetoxme and @JenniferEmilson! Big fan of @diginn so I'll have to check out their take on purslane. Sounds delicious.
