Any advice for vegetarian broth? Mine always ends up flavorless

@lauren let it soak for a long time! This one was kombu, ginger, and dried shiitake with the miso added after and it only wanted me to let it steep for 30 mins. I left it on for at least an hour and a half, and also added garlic. The shiitakes make it nice and savory though :)

I always loved it as a kid in sickly sweet Italian style fruit salad. I don't think I've ever had it fresh, though, but if I found it available near me id love to give it a try!
