I always loved it as a kid in sickly sweet Italian style fruit salad. I don't think I've ever had it fresh, though, but if I found it available near me id love to give it a try!

Venezuelan parents instilled a deep appreciation for papaya. My dad taught me to seek out the huge red variety over the small yellow Hawaiian ones. Love it with just a twist of lime!

Oh yes! Papaya is big in our home. A mix of papaya and mango is probably the most decadent fruit salad - rich and sweet!

My husband looooves Popo (that's how we called it in South Africa).
I've tried it many times and was quite indifferent. Inevitably, I got to liking it :)

I Love Papaya......it's my lunch today , delicious and filling. Papayas are popular among Indian community, it's available at most Indian Grocery Stores.
