I love these crunchy little shoots. Growing tip - add a little bit of worm castings to your soilless seed mix and you will notice a huge change in flavor.

sugardetoxme Justin, my first sunflower microgreen popped up yesterday in my home too 💚ðŸ˜
-
olivettefarm @sugardetoxme hah! That's awesome. You have a little farm happening inside your house with all the things you're growing :)

Georegulus Great photo
Still cold outside and I'm still dreaming of summer veggies. Okra is a pain to harvest, but it's such a southern staple.

Okra is actually in the same family as cotton and hibiscus. It can definitely be an acquired taste if you're new to it. How do you like to use it?

HealthyHarlequin Always interesting to see how some cultures embrace the mucilagenous aspect and others not so much! I like to quick fry mine so it doesn't get too...err snotty!
-
olivettefarm @HealthyHarlequin so true! I too prefer them crispy. Grilling them is a big winner for me.
