First zucchini blossoms!
The squash are not too far behind. When harvesting for eating, only harvest the male blossoms, which grow on a stem and don't bear fruit. #gardeningtips #kitchentips

Yfalkson Can you tell me more about how to tell the male ones? Not sure I follow
-
Georegulus @sugardetoxme will probably answer, but the male blossoms grow on a long skinny stem whereas the females clearly have a fruit growing beneath the blossom.

JenniferEmilson I can't wait to find them here at our markets!

sugardetoxme I'm so freaking curious about this. So many people spray their lawns here to prevent dandelions from growing, which I always despised. Love seeing dandelions around!

Nelson paying attention to this
-
carpe_deli Haha so true @sugardetoxme , it is not the most popular green in the garden, because it spreads so quickly. But it's so pretty 😄
