I save my veggie scraps in a bag in the freezer, and when I have a couple bags full I make stock, and then compost the scraps.

It's great having homemade stock frozen for when I want to make soup. Plus it's free, easy, and gives those scraps a second life! #nofoodwaste
Fresh pappardelle!

With olive oil, peas, parmesan, mint, and salt and pepper. Kitchen tip: drop frozen peas into the leftover hot pasta water to defrost them!
Swedish bread, red beet hummus, cucumber and radish leftovers. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Have a great day and #nofoodwaste

LesleyBL I was surprised to learn how much protein we actually need. It seems like much less than people actually eat.

LezEngel So informative! Based on some of the products I see in the store (like special k with protein) you would think that it was not plentiful in so many whole foods.
Muesli with soy yoghurt and different leftover fruit,(passionfruit, pomegranate and peach). Which leftovers would you put on top?

DietID_TeamDietitians @annefood gifted me a bunch of rhubarb, so leftover compote is on the list!
