Super foods made "super" by the media?
The more I read the more I feel that it's the media / select groups that define super foods year after year & sometimes just out of the blue!!
Even something as basic as an egg or a mundane spinach...

Just blitzed strawberries with yoghurt & honey set it upon a muesli base!

Totally @garv Quinoa is a classic example. It started trending here in NA, and then suddenly the countries where it was a lowly staple started exporting more, and the locals could no longer eat...
