annefood My mother always scooped everything with measuring cups- I credit her with the idea! I remember the rice on my plate being measuring cup shaped as a kid. Ha!
Don't peel your carrots! You lose about 1/3 of the nutrients when you trim off the outer layers.

I recommend the Rad Thai and Apples + Butternut Squash!
Seriously dirty pot or pan? Let it soak with white vinegar, baking soda and water for a few hours before scrubbing. It'll be good as new.

JenniferEmilson If it's really crusted with food bits, etc., add an inch of water and bring to a boil. 'Deglazing' your pot by letting the water and heat loosen those bits and then using a spoon to scrape them up.

Cooked tomatoes are better for you than raw ones. The longer they cook, the better for you they become.
