Using whole milk instead of sweetener is a great replacement! When thinking about a healthy whole/real foods diet, don’t focus on the calories. If you turn your attention to the quality of the foods you’re eating, you’re going to be just fine. Many reasons, but to name a few- your body processes the calories from milk (protein, fat) very differently than it processes sweetener; you’re likely only putting a splash of milk in your espresso, not drinking a gallon of it; if you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, lean proteins, etc. you’re likely going to be consuming the amount of food/calories your body needs automatically, without focusing on them.
