annefood 8yr Hey @RegannePreece ! Awesome that you joined the Avoid Sweets Challenge! Unfortunately Breakfast Essentials drinks aren't great. Many "nutrition" drinks like Breakfast Essentials are actually full of sugar and chemicals even though they want us to believe otherwise. If you're looking for something quick that you can take on the go, try making a smoothie with banana, berries, milk, ice, and some protein like plain yogurt or a spoonful of peanut or almond butter. There are many variations including this one http://www.annefood.com/blog/creamy-berry-smoothie .

doublek23 8yr I'm in love with Ancient Harvest Quinoa Flakes! They are full of protein, don't have gluten, and is similar to oatmeal. Add some butter and toasted coconut flakes to it and it makes a great breakfast 😜

SuzanneM 8yr I totally agree with @annefood. I looked up the sugar contents in a 9oz serving of Breakfast Essentials, and it's 31 grams. That is actually more sugar per oz than a coke. It's unfortunate that they are allowed to market this product as a healthy breakfast because it just confuses people.
