I've shredded these and will saute' them in coconut oil with walnuts for the vegan guests.

DietID_TeamDietitians For nonvegans - I roasted these with apples, pistachios, and balsamic honey, topped with crème fraische. I stole tbe recipe from Alta , and feel zero guilt :)
May consider to experiment using organic whole yogurt to substitute cream - works like magic:)
