@garv often times people assume cravings are based on lack of self control or that it's all mental, but often times it's an underlying nutrient deficiency and your body is craving what it's missing! It might manifest in different ways, making sure you have enough clean protein will definitely help give your body what it needs so it stops asking for more 💪🏻

I discovered this from my own experimentation. I haven't done much 'calculation,' as suggested in the article, but I do try to swap in sugary snacks for more protein-dense snacks whenever possible.

Totally agree @Brianne I'm not scientific about it, but I also notice that when I eat an egg, for example, instead of some other snack, my sugar cravings vanish.

Gonna consciously try this ! What works for me is eating at regular intervals , cuts cravings/ tendency to eat anything sweet very effectively

Great idea! There's a restaurant where I used to live that had a sandwich on the menu using plantains. I had forgotten about that! Thanks for the reminder.
