annefood 8yr Hey @Uber - are you looking for a dinner option? Be sure to keep in mind that something low calories doesn't always equal a nutritious meal. A homemade salad is a definitely a healthier and lower calorie option than a steak and french fries, but make sure to include some healthy protein such as chicken, tuna and/or beans, and some healthy fats such as almonds or walnuts, olive oil and avocado in there too. In general, starting with your veggies is always a nutritious way to go—sautéed greens or roasted veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potato, squash, onion, asparagus, etc) with a small portion of lean protein such as chicken breast, fish or beans, and a side of brown rice or quinoa.
