DietID_TeamDietitians 8yr So fascinating! With all the pushback we've seen in the states on a soda tax, it seems like this will be hard to pass and administer, though an interesting idea. I'd be curious if a tax is also coupled with a subsidy for healthier options. If the goal of the tax is to curb consumption, and consumption of healthier foods is 'less' convenient, there should also be an incentive on the flip side to avoid the Scandinavian outcome. -
garv 8yr It's going to be hard to implement & I don't think it would be more effective if all governments ensured that we get better quality produce by clamping down on the use of chemicals etc.

LDA Foodstand has kept me accountable. My husband and I are on a low carb meal plan. We are doing relatively good so far. It has definitely made me more aware of what I was eating.
