Emma 8yr So glad this is helpful! My mom discovered the tip last summer and we've been doing it ever since. Requires a bit more basil than the normal batch might, but it's worth it to keep that beautiful color :)

Emma 8yr @Lauren it does a teeny bit. I find I need to use a bit more basil to keep the flavor strong. This is a great way to get brilliant green pesto but if you want the very fullest flavor, the old fashioned way is probably still best :)
