Don't get rid of your turnip greens! Chop them off of your turnips before storing in the fridge in order to help the greens and roots last longer. We like to lightly sauté the greens in garlic and olive oil. #nofoodwaste

I add them to a simple stir fry with ginger and tamari. I never used to keep turnip greens, but I'm so glad I do now.

I wonder if you can use these greens like you use spinach in some Indian flatbreads.

@RahulRaRa I bet you could. The turnips greens will cook a little quicker than spinach does possibly. @FarmerDave that sounds good! Gonna have to try that.
I love to cut them in half a pop them on the grill real quick. So good. The green insides and red outsides make for a pretty greens mix as well. Fun fact: cold weather will intensify the red on the...
This is our mild mix. It includes red Russian kale, amaranth and red cabbage. It's packed with nutrients and is very tasty! I love to add these to my breakfast omelets. #FoodRevolution

started growing amaranth and can't get over how beautiful and colorful it is.

@sugardetoxme agreed! It's beautiful. I feel like it looks different depending on the angle you're looking at it.
