Eat your turnip greens!
Don't get rid of your turnip greens! Chop them off of your turnips before storing in the fridge in order to help the greens and roots last longer. We like to lightly sauté the greens in garlic and olive oil. #nofoodwaste

FarmerDave 8yr I add them to a simple stir fry with ginger and tamari. I never used to keep turnip greens, but I'm so glad I do now. -

I'm a little obsessed with these right now. They are a pain to harvest, but have such an amazing flavor.

olivettefarm @sugardetoxme we use sharp harvest knives. They're a little easier to move around in the trays. Same knives we use for lettuce and other leafy greens.
