So true! People say that kids don't like vegetables, but in truth they don't really get the chance to.

Interesting. Is the article saying that these things are decided early on? I've noticed that even things like salt preference can fluctuate on the order of weeks depending on habits. So wondering if this is more like imprinting and genetics—that can only change so much—or whether it's more fluid. Like I'd love to imagine I could give mushrooms a chance someday, but… hmmmm…

@Ricky In the article, food writer Bee Wilson believes that taste is learned from our environment. Certain food preferences may start in the womb, depending on the mother's diet. My mom ate a lot of fruit when she was pregnant which is probably the reason I'm a fruit fanantic😂

I'm glad the point is made about how your body absorbs nutrients, like vitamin D. Just drinking water with extra vitamins doesn't help you as much ingesting it with a full meal.
