I looove oranges. Totally agree that oranges ' natural form is the way it should be sold and consumed.

I know I should be able to peel my own Orange, but I have to say sometimes if I'm in a bind and running to a meeting, I'm glad this is an option so I don't grab some processed cracker thing in a bag

nature puts a wrapper on its candy...then, we take it off and wrap it in plastic instead. wompwomp

@mirasingh what you're saying makes sense. I'm always happy to see apples and orange at a rest stop for instance, and don't mind the crappy quality, pesticides, or whatever. Because that compared with a mars bar still seems a better choice. That said though, I think this is sad more because of how it's reflecting our social values -- I.e. Making food as nature intended has a very low priority because of busy lifestyles. But s lot is at stake as a result (nutrition, health, enviro, etc.). Our mentality as a society seems to be less and less in tune with nature, and more with the clock and $$.

I totally hear you @unconventionalbaker! Yea I feel like I'm not prioritizing my time correctly if I don't have time to peel my own orange. I wish corporate culture supported the values I had
