JenniferDoscher 8yr I quite agree. So did Hippocrates ..."Let thy food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food."

katewilson 8yr Except you can't eat too much spinach either. I have a friend who is hyper sensitive to oxalate and eating a spinach smoothie every morning and spinach at lunch nearly gave him kidney failure. In fact, doctors are starting to control oxalate levels for Autistic children and ask parents to hold off on feeding foods that contain spinach, beets and peanuts for instance. Crazy but true.

JenniferEmilson 8yr Too true. But we can't eat enough of the foods to get certain nutrients. So if we can at least source our supplements from naturopathic sources, it's a step in the right direction. But that doesn't mean we replace the food with the pill. Start with eating healthy! A la @JenniferDoscher

JenniferDoscher 8yr Yes, and then hopefully, that mindset grows like a seed...it's fruit being a pattern in society of sustainable, responsible, farming practices not reliant micro-managing, forcing growth, and restricting natural ecological cycles.
