Chinatown

Udi Dragon fruit?
-
JenniferEmilson Yep! @udi
Started sweetening things with jaggery, a cane sugar traditionally used in Indian cooking. Makes my greek yogurt Breakfast so much more decadent. Anyone else use jaggery??
-
JenniferEmilson A new one!
-
shannonvittoria I've got the moves like jagger-y.
-
Shuchi Yep, all the time! Love it!
Egg yolks in Japan are orange. Why's that?
-
JenniferEmilson I think it has to do with what the hens are eating. Richer diet, richer colour?!
So... It seems like Guinness potato chips may be hitting our shores. Has anyone else given them a try?
-
JenniferEmilson Will they taste like stout??
-
LannyGoLightly @JenniferEmilson there is a faint stout flavor to them!
-
JenniferEmilson Then count me in!
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Remember to spread some love today.
My family calls this a "hole in the egg" - what do you call it??
-
shannonvittoria Egg with a whole in it (which makes absolutely no sense!)
-
shannonvittoria **hole
-
jessicaholmes So weird...but my husband calls this "toads in a hole!"
I didn't have any panko in the pantry, so I decided to use unsweetened finely shredded coconut. Worked out great! This is coconut crusted Ahi. Now... What can I make for a dipping sauce. Hmmmmm.......
-
JenniferEmilson Very clever! When I think coconut, I think curry or Thai, so maybe a dip that leans to a satay? I'm sure you'll come up with something!

Foodielicioushi @JenniferEmilson Oooh, that sounds like a good idea!! Thanks for the suggestion. Aloha!
