Picked up the most lovely ginger and lime marmalade from a local boutique. Needed bread. So this Irish soda bread with bourbon-soaked currants has accepted the assignment.

JenniferEmilson 10yr @rachna Yes I did! Very straightforward recipe from Saveur, the New Classics cookbook. The only change I made was replacing the raisins with currants, and soaking them before I added them to the batter.
