Monica101 8yr I had orange juice. Can I use it as s pass, since I have one left.? I drank it because I grew sick.

annefood 8yr Hey Monica101 ! So sorry to hear you are sick. Was the orange juice 100% fruit juice? It so, then it doesn't have any added sugar and you don't need to take a free pass. We recommend drinking juice sparingly because it doesn't contain any fiber, but drinking juice when sick is a great way to get some nutrients and fluids when you're body can't handle solid food.

Check out the Guidebook https://www.thefoodstand.com/challenge-groups/14-avoid-added-sugar/guide for specifics, but the Challenge is all about added sugars as opposed to naturally occurring sugars (such as in unsweetened dairy product and fruit). So anything that is naturally sweet is allowed, but anything that has been sweetened is not and you'd need to use a free pass.
