DietID_TeamDietitians 8yr Hey @Lazy_Nash - perhaps you can try cleaning out your fridge of anything that is tempting, and just keep fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables. This way, if you have a craving, the options are still healthier, full of fiber, and packed with nutrients. Also perhaps try the One bite at a time Challenge. Slowing down when you're eating gives your brain time to catch up and recognize it's full. Oftentimes we eat much faster, and our brain doesn't recognize we're full until well after we have eaten more than we really need. I know this has happened to me many times, especially when I'm hungry.

darkchocolatepeanutbutter 8yr Totally understandable @Lazy_Nash. Emotional hunger is difficult to distinguish with physical hunger since we use food as comfort. Check in with yourself by thinking about any life changes that may be triggering you to eat more than usual. You could try journaling, reaching out to a family member or a friend or even take a walk the next time you get the urge to binge. Hope that helps!
