You don't need to give up carbs, just consider smaller portions of some of your favorites since eating too much of any food can increase body fat or triglyceride levels. Also consider other factors such as physical activity, family history and stress. Hope this helps you!

annefood 8yr @chasketti in addition to @darkchocolatepeanutbutter 's great advice about moderation, when you do eat carbs try switching to whole grains. Instead of white bread/toast try Ezekiel Bread http://www.foodforlife.com/product/breads/ezekiel-49-sprouted-whole-grain-bread and instead of white rice eat brown or wild rice instead. The extra fiber is key.
