You need to know that you need to eat per day 3 portions of veggies (each portion is equal to 200g of veggies raw or cooked)and 2 fruits. Added to that 4 portions of carbs which are each equivalent to either a cup of rice/pasta/quinoa or a piece of bread of 45gr. And just one portion of lean protein per day. And never forget your 3 dairy products daily. And finally 4 tbsp of olive oil or half an avocado

I wouldn't really recommend following a strict diet plan, I would advise just striving to eat healthier overall. This puts less pressure on yourself and helps you create a healthy lifestyle instead of just following diets fads that can at times be unhealthy for you :)

I agree with @emmie that putting a lot of pressure on yourself to have a strict plan oftentimes backfires. Instead, it's about making small changes and celebrating little victories. Generally speaking a diet high in fruits and vegetables, and low on processed food is associated with a healthier weight. cc: @darkchocolatepeanutbutter to weigh in here.

Hey @Cboren and welcome to the Foodstand community! If you're looking to gain muscle, bodyweight exercises like pushups and mountain climbers are great to start and eating more protein and carbs is important to maintain muscle and energy. It's also important to remember that your weight may actually increase since muscle weighs more than body fat so don't worry too much about numbers. If you feel great, you're on the right track. Thanks for the question!
