Friday inspiration: using law to combat food waste in Italy

Seriously, I feel like Italy just made this look so easy for other countries seeking to combat food waste! Eliminating hurdles like restrictions on donations of food past sell-by dates (which we all know are sorta bunk anyway) is a great way to cut down on waste. And encouraging "doggy bags" for leftovers at restaurants?? This is such a win! "The Italian government has overwhelmingly backed a new set of laws aimed at cutting down the vast amounts of food wasted in the country each year."
