I was surprised to learn how much protein we actually need. It seems like much less than people actually eat.

So informative! Based on some of the products I see in the store (like special k with protein) you would think that it was not plentiful in so many whole foods.

I had no idea until recently that peas had protein. I mean, who associates peas with protein? But it's just like other legumes in that respect. Total menu changer in our house!

Indeed!! I've started using dried or roasted peas as snacks- gives you a satisfying crunch and protein instead of just pain refined carb.
