Southern comfort food culture and love

My stepdad had surgery and his friends have been bringing food by all week. The culture of food down here is extraordinary. These are his favorite foods and they are accompanied by a healthy helping of hugs, laughter, teasing and love! (And yes, I know this stuff is not "healthy" but he is 80 years old and well... These are a treat!)
