etsummer 9yr Not in Italy but I've WWOOF'd in Chile. My advice is to really do your research and make sure to Skype/do a phone interview with the farm and host you choose beforehand. There is a huuuuuge spectrum of offerings on WWOOF farms in terms of housing, work hours, etc. Some people are really just looking for labor while others want to make sure you get as much out of the experience as they do. Have so much fun! WWOOFing is an amazing experience and for me was what solidified my decision to work in the sustainable ag and food world. You're in for a treat π

sugardetoxme 9yr My friend suggested "smaller family operations in the north around Turino, Bra or Lake Como" @Darkchocolatepeanutbutter and @lauren.

elysebeeks 9yr I have done WWOOFing in Israel, Greece and the US. I've had both amazing and mediocre experiences. Definitely speak with the farm on the phone beforehand. I can recommend a great WWOOfing farm in florida, if you want to just get a taste for the experience before you go abroad.
