Travel pic - Laotian dish!
Last meal in Luang Prabang: a vegetarian version of Laap, a spicy national dish usually made with minced chicken or pork - mine had oyster mushrooms + tofu and all the lovely herbs that accompany most dishes here, plus a snack of crispy Mekong riverweed (surely Laos's answer to kale chips). 🌱🌱🌱 And though I was craving a dark Laos beer as I do practically every time I eat all these spicy foods, decided on the (almost) equally enjoyable soda water, which is 10x more bubbly than anything I've had at home and thus 💯x better.
