"An on-farm dinner like no other. Featuring some of the region’s best chefs and producers on one of the area’s oldest farms: Carriage House Farm. Hood’s Heritage Hogs will be providing the pork for this amazing snout to tail dinner, featuring three courses with pairings of wine and beer. Guests will socialize over pre-dinner drinks while the air is filled with notes of bluegrass. Proceeds from the event will go to benfit The Ohio Ecological Food and Farming Association, the organic certifier for Ohio farmers as well as the key institution that provide small family-owned farms the educational resources to help build more sustainable agricultural systems.

Ticket price: $150 for dinner; $200 for two-day event including (an industry only event) BizarreBQ.
The special two-day event tickets are limited in quantity. These tickets will get guests into the invitation-only all-day BizzarBQ event taking place the day before the dinner (Saturday, August 27th). BizzareBQ is a potluck event featuring regional and national chefs, ranchers, farmers, and leaders in the charcuterie world. During this event, we will be butchering two hogs that will be used for the Haymaker Social. You will get to socialize in a casual event and learn more about rancher Travis Hood and farmer Richard Stewart's work. In addition, you will get to sample amazing food and drinks. The event will run from 8 AM to 8 PM. You will leave tired and amazed. Ticket holders for this event can show up at anytime and particpate or simply watch."

"Carriage House Farm will hosting the 7th Annual Farm Tour and Local Food Open House. The event takes place Sunday, September 18th, 2016 from Noon till 4 PM. This event features a tour of the farm with a focus on supplying local food to regional chefs and retailers and will include wagon rides to the new sustainable agriculture site where you can see the progress of the new barn and future location for our on-farm market and honey processing. The event also features a nice list of some of the most talented chefs and artisan food producers in the region. All source directly from Carriage House Farm year round and/or work with us directly in our series of farm dinners. There will be a dozen sampling stations positioned around the farm so that guests can taste as they tour. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is a family friendly event! CHildren of all ages are welcome!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We will have a central parking area for all guests with hay-wagon shuttles running all-day. Handicap parking is available closer to event site, but we are a working farm and access for those on crutches or in wheelchairs will be very limited.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Alcohol is not permitted at this event. Smoking is not permitted in or in close proximity to any barn, on the hay wagons, or near food service areas. No pets are allowed. If ..."
