One of my favorite ways to taste summer year-round is by slow roasting and preserving tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes in half, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper. Add a few cloves of garlic and roast for a few hours at 225. Keep them in a jar, immersed in olive oil.

MamieRheingold Yes! I am a weird New Yorker and don't even go out to cocktails often. But Ramona is a beautiful Greenpoint gem and that frozen drink was memorable. Especially on a hot sticky summer night.

DietID_TeamDietitians I need to check this out. I have a favorite drink every quarter and last quarter was the Moscow mule, but never had it with pepper. Will have to extend MM to this quarter!
