Our last night together in Toronto before heading back to Vancouver and @Anita grilled homemade pizzas on the bbq. The farmers market provided many of the toppings. Thanks for a great dinner. Not shown, the Amarone Grappa to end the eve!

DietID_TeamDietitians 9yr How do you grill a pizza?!
-
JenniferEmilson 9yr Heat bbq/grill to about 450. Roll out your pizza dough to personal sized 'rounds' (10" or so) you can use the back of a baking sheet as a paddle to slide it onto the hot grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes- checking by lifting underneath to ensure not burning too much, you want some char. Remove onto a baking sheet. Do the same with all the rounds you plan to make. Add your toppings to the grilled side. Then drop the heat to 400 degrees. Return one by one now cooking the underside. The lower heat and closing the lid for another 5 min or so will ensure that the topping cook/cheese melts but that the bottom doesn't burn too much. Eat! @Rachna

DietID_TeamDietitians 9yr Ohhhh amazing!!!! Will try this on our grill. Genius

JenniferEmilson 9yr Oh let me know how it turns out. A friend made it yesterday using my description on Instagram. They were thrilled with the result. I did tell her to have the initial temp around 425. So you may want to do the same- it's really a matter of paying attention to your own bbq. Have fun! @Rachna
