Afternoon Score! I was in the kitchen where I volunteer and someone popped in with a green garbage bag. He asked if I wanted what was inside. I opened it, not knowing what to expect. Ramps. From the forest at the back of the property. It was worth cleaning off the dirt, and the worm š

serveMEnow 10yr Jealous! Lightly seasoned with kosher salt, fresh cracked black pepper, olive oil & lemon juice and grilled to perfection is how I like my ramps. Now I'm drooling! š

JenniferEmilson 10yr Thanks for the suggestion @serveMEnow I have loads to work with, so a variety of options will be appreciated. I'm thinking of turning some into a pesto. What do you think?
-
serveMEnow 10yr That sounds perfect! I call them a double double as far as ingredients and flavors go. You get the leafy greens and the garlicky flavor that makes them so delicious. Try using lightly toasted pistachios and red chili pepper flakes in your ramp pesto. Serve it over spaghettini or tossed with grilled vegetables...my stomach just grumbled!

JenniferEmilson 10yr I volunteer for my church. We have a larger facility on 40 acres that requires lots of volunteer work for landscaping etc, so I'm in the kitchen while my hubby cuts grass etc š @MargaretG
