A plated rendition of my favorite Super Heebster sandwich, found at original Russ & Daughters. Here at the cafe, the whitefish X salmon salad sits on top of horseradish cream cheese on bagel toast; and garnished with wasabi flying fish roe & microgreens.

LannyGoLightly 10yr @wheeler - when I first heard about the sandwich, Spidey sense said this spells all kinds of wrong, but it works deliciously together. I do prefer original on-bagel vs this pretty bagel toast business.

Gorgeously flaky dough cups an espresso red eye gravy pool, then topped with swirl of Benton ham and cheesy sprinkle. Good. Morning.
