annefood 8yr Eggs and oatmeal are fantastic choices! Is the sugar free yogurt you've been having the plain unsweetened kind @mikdaviswr ?

mikdaviswr 8yr To turn the subject around. How do you feel about Chinese food? If I have one go to meal when I just need comfort food - it's the vegetable lo Mein from my local place. Who I am sure is just like your local place and all the other local places out there. Thank you

annefood 8yr The trouble with eating out regardless of the type of cuisine is that you often don't know what ingredients are used. This is a serious generalization so there are definitely exceptions, but Chinese food tends to be pretty high in salt, can contain MSG and sugar too. However, if you need some Chinese comfort food, veggie lo mein is a pretty good choice! Avoid mystery meat and eat something with lots of veggies like your lo mean or a veggie stir fry. And don't eat it too frequently. You could always try to master some veggie lo mein at home, too!
