Hi! I'm a slim guy. I've always had that type of athletic build. But I've recently lost even more weight--I'm now 5'11 down to 142lbs. Some people have expressed concern and I am having a hard time getting back to 150lbs. I just want to look healthy again. I don't care about muscle as much as I do my energy level. My wife used this LoseIt app and it really helped her get to her target weight but that was obviously for losing weight. I liked the idea but don't know if I can find something similar short of downloading dozens of apps and trying them all! I don't know if this TMI or if this helps, but if anyone can give me some tips, that would be great.

@ednunez Hi Ed and thanks for the question! I'm not familiar with apps that help people to gain weight. Technically you are not underweight however there are certain things you can do to increase weight like incorporating more strength training into your exercise routine and eating higher calorie nutrient dense foods like avocados and nut butters. I'd also recommend that you see either your doctor or a registered dietitian who can help you reach your goal weight. Hope that helps!

Hey, thanks for you reply. I was thinking of an app similar to this LoseIt one that helps manage your caloric intake by setting the goal for the day, recording every meal, exercise, and gives suggestions for different foods/recipes or workouts. I have heard before to incorporate more strength training but that's hard with my limited time. I like to spend my workout time running, cycling or hiking which is not conducive to my goal! I worked with a dietician for a few months but I can stay more focused if I have something I can check in to every couple of hours. Also easier to track and monitor.
