sounds awful. I've heard it described as drinking pancake batter. Not to mention I don't think it's possible to get adequate nutrition from it.

They miss the whole cultural aspects of food + it's so clear to me that different people need different types of nutrition during different stages of their life. I cannot imagine a pregnant mom, for instance, relying on Soylent. And is the biggest ingredient soy? (Hence the name?) we should also watch our intake with that as well, or at least eat it fermented,

Great point @brittanymbarton - I've heard that you don't absorb nutrients the same way when they are consumed in powder form. And @sugardetoxme the soy! Also drinking pancake batter sounds as bad as when I had to wear a retainer when i was 12 - cringe!

I totally agree with @sugardetoxme Soy in most forms, can't do it. The article seems to emphasize the need to resort to this because of not wanting to take the time to eat. Sad, if we can't even stop being 'productive' to take in REAL nourishment.
