Her classes are imaginative and accessible and are taught to encourage students to use herbal medicine in their daily lives. She incorporates her training from Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Herbalism with her natural creative flare. Dawn works as a herbalist and flower essence practitioner in NYC, leads herb walks, teaches classes at the JCC, 92Y, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Grange, Brooklyn Brainery, Project Find, and the Just Food Conference, and runs an online apothecary shop called Petalune Herbals. Learn which herbs and supplements are safe during this time and how to make tinctures, infused oils, creams, and teas from plants harvested on our rooftop farm. Midwife Chloë Lubell and will share her passion and knowledge about holistically planning a pregnancy, surviving 10 months of pregnancy, and the postpartum period. Everyone will learn to make and go home with their own: *Fertility Tea infusion *Sleep Aid Tincture (safe for the preoccupation period and pregnancy) *Comfrey & Calendula Infused Oil - for healing & preventing infections While we are making our herbal medicines, you will learn about identifying and charting your fertile signs, how to best support your body through the preconception phase, pregnancy, and the postpartum period, and finding support from your pregnancy provider. These workshops are for people interested in learning more about themselves and their bodies, as well as doulas, midwives, and any other birth workers looking to expand their knowledge base. LGBTQIAP+ friendly. About Chloë Lubel Chloë Lubell, CNM, WHNP graduated from Yale University School of Nursing in 2014. She currently works in a public hospital providing pregnancy and birth care to underserved and often undocumented populations searching out respectful healthcare options. Additionally, she works online providing individualized care to Trans, gender-non-conforming, and queer people searching out midwifery-model care as well as teens and adults of all genders looking for sex-positive, body-positive, and loving information about their reproductive health lives.
